Not to cast shade… but seems like people don’t want them. Nicer interior and smaller motor than previous generations, yet a lot more money. Koons has had a few sitting for a long time now. For the price you can get a Tundra… so I don’t get it.

 

I'm keeping mine because I am satisfied with it and there is more I want to do with it but the 4th gens are definitely growing on me.

 

if I had and extra 65k I’d get a pro and throw 35s and a few other goodies on there

 

It was under 90° today so i figured its a good day to mount my new bumper. Definitely more protection compared to the original bumper.

 

If I had $65k… I’m paying the rest of my truck off and buying the wife a ‘24 4Runner Sport with a mild lift and 33’s. May even get her a rack on the roof with a little ladder on the back!

 

putting the the in front of the numbers gave me a funny memory. I was working for a used car retailer and for one of my first off lots I went on I had to follow someone from Irvine to Fullerton. so I asked how do we get there? this is what I was told, take the 405 to the 5 to the 57 to the 91 get off at ball Rd. I just said ok but what direction for each freeway? took a bit of getting used to how the natives talked.

I liked the idea of a "new" truck design, but when I read that the AC doesn't have opening "wing" doors, I wondered how many potential sales they lost. I'm looking at 5-8 year old 4runners on line and the prices for those rigs with less then 100K on the odo is enough to make me weep.

@$500 Dave- once your SXS is registered/tagged in VW, could you really drive that into MD?

 

I agree with this 100%. It just doesn’t make sense why they’re so expensive. Every Toyota dealership I drive by has at minimum several sitting on the lot, and usually there are 10-20 of them just sitting around. Compare that to the 3rd gens which were impossible for them to keep on the lots even until recently.

Alright, so I swear I've seen this truck on here before. Which one of you guys was at the Sheetz at 11 and Longmeadow in Hagerstown sometime after 12ish? Black (or MGM) 3rd gen DC with ARB front bumper, soft topper, and the front MD license plate in the window. If this was one of you, I was the guy in the gray Camry scoping your truck out I swear I've seen that truck here before!
