Lol I'm still under warranty too but the clutch is considered a wear item so it's not cover.

Guess I'll be getting a new windshield sooner than expexted and making sure they use enough sealer

Ok. So I am bringing this Rausch Creek thing back up again. I'm leaving Friday around noon on the 5th. Camping Friday and Saturday possibly wheeling a little on Sunday. I'm doing the green trails and possibly a few blues. This is a perfect for some of you that have never been to Rausch because there is no risk of damage unless you choose to pick the off the beaten path trails.

Rolled over 40k miles today. :goingcrazy: At this rate I'm averaging just over 700 miles a week.

Gotta start seriously looking at tires soon. Lol

Thanks, but no thanks. Haha I have them right now and absolutely hate them. If it even thinks about raining I start spinning tires. They squeal all the time too but I think that's because I have a screw in my front tire. It hasn't started really leaking air yet though so I don't want to pull it out and have some problems haha

I'm torn right now between BFG AT's, General Grabber AT2's, and Hankook Dynapro AT-S's. Kinda considering BFG Rugged Terrains as well.. All of them have pros and cons lol I drive a ton so I don't want anything heavy/won't last long, but a decent amount it spent on packed dirt, grass, and mud for work so Id like a decent amount of grip.

You do need a second vehicle

And i'm not trying to push anything on you, i just am being silly.

I love my Hankooks so far...bfgs aren't really worth the money in my opinion

I didn't care for the Generals but now they seem like a great tire, they look badass as well

Haha I know, no worries

and yea that's pretty much my train of thought at the moment. The hankooks are decently priced and seem to be a pretty good tire, the BFG's are well known for being an awesome tire but are also stupid expensive, and the grabbers are cheap and (from what I have heard/read) don't last as long and have had a history of some minor problems.

Right now i think I'm mainly between the Hankook's and Generals. they're both pretty cool looking and I dont think either one would kill my mpg - it just depends on price and longevity/durability i think. there are too many options. haha

I plan on keeping this truck until it is sufficiently dead and will cost way too much to fix, but when I get up around the 200k mark I'll probably pick up a beater car for work that i can just beat to shit and not care if some guy nails me with a bobcat. lol in hindsight i probably could have kept the camry that I got $700 for and used that as my work car..

The hankooks wear like a fucking rock. I've seen them with 20k and they still look new.

But beware.....in LT, they ride pretty rough. I don't mind it at all because i want my truck....TO RIDE LIKE A TRUCK. Lol

The generals, never tried them.....they ride fine on a 4Runner.....but i DO NOT. Absolutely DO NOT like that they are not rated for "HEAVY" snow use. I don't want to be limited on the snow i can conquer because of my tires. My firestones kicked ass in the snow and so far the hankooks should be fine, they suck a cleaning out clay but work fine packed full of clay lol

I think the General is a 60k tire while the Hankook is a 50k. I'll be lucky to get 40k out of my Hankooks with how i drive but they work and i would buy them again. Sounds like you should lean towards the Generals if you want longer wear.

Wear length doesn't matter to me at all because i never meet their expectations lol. My firestones were almost halfway worn out a 11200 when i got a torn sidewall. I'd have been lucky to make it to 25k on a 40k tire

Oh great. There goes the neighborhood  Taco meets every weekend :woot:

Hankook's a guy I met about a year ago had 55k on his and they looked brandnew... Saw him about a month ago and he still had the tires on at 68k and they were starting to wear quick he said... 68k is NUTS for tires

But I don't see you considering the GY Wrangler duratracs... They are a great tire as well... Just a bit of a thin sidewall... My tires have id say around 30k now and still have another 20k in them easy.
