They're not cool enough to get a Pro or Trail Hunter apparently though

 

Wife & I took advantage of this beautiful cool day and explored Green Ridge for 6hrs. We even packed a cooler bag and stopped for a trail side lunch. Had a blast.

 

Well that’s fine with me since at the current prices I can afford 13% of one new LC lol

Too bad they ruined it with an LS swap. Not that there is anything wrong with an LS… it just doesn’t belong in a LC. For $200k, they should have bought a 5.7 Yota motor and slapped the Mag supercharger on it. That woulda been badass!

I was looking at a Tundra and I thought my wife was joking when she came over and told me she found a LC for $90K.

 

I was doing a bit of "window" shopping over the weekend- the sticker shock never ends. I was looking at SR5 T4R's- no 'base' SR5s to be found, only SR5 premiums at around 50K. There's a ferd stealership in Hanover PA with a bunch of new Broncos, I swung by today to have a peek- every last one was at least 63K. I was chasing a '15 T4R TRAIL model at a carmax near Denver last week, it was still 35K.. I might be forced to keep my Taco and just drive it. Nothing against anyone that can afford a new LC, more power to them. I just don't see the value in the price.

 

Those prices are all crazy. The dealership I was at today has an incredibly nice lunar rock 24’ Tundra SR5 that had a bunch of goodies; it was stickered at $52K which I thought was oddly low because a lot of the 4th Gen Tacomas around it were priced higher. I could only guess that maybe it’s been sitting on their lot for a while.

It feels wrong saying this but relative to today’s car prices, it was actually a somewhat reasonable price. That thing was really nice.
