Hey man, lived in NOVA majority of my life. Feel free to PM me. General rule of thumb is closer you are to DC, the more ridiculous apartment prices are. I found Herndon was a sweet spot if you don't mind adding a little time to your commute.

Nah, we probably will drive through Glacier one of the days but it’s more of just a general “go out west and avoid life” trips lol

 

Did they prep the frame and remove surface rust if any? Oh and what was the cost?

 

Yep, prepped and removed all the existing rust and then sprayed. I had it done a couple years ago but I want to say it was like $699 or something? It was expensive but 100% worth it in my opinion. They did a really good job and you can take it back once a year for a free touch up.

 

@SHADOWDRIFTER19 you get your tent all straightened out and planning on camping?

 

Sad to say I wont be able to make to the Toyota Take Over. My buddy ask if would help him work as a stagehand at The Ramble Festival next weekend. I just cant pass the opportunity or the money up. Maybe ill see some of ya at the Shakedown.

Yeah they do very good work. I had them detail my truck earlier this year as well.

 

Sadly no, decided to just wait the 60 days for the original kit . Sleeping at my friend's house in PA Friday night, wheel all day Saturday, hang for the BBQ and raffle, head back to Buddy's place when things get toooo rowdy haha

No prob. Just over night. They spray it the day you drop it off and then let it sit over night so it cures. They failed to tell me that I shouldn’t drive on the beach the week after because apparently it takes a couple weeks to fully cure. So I had a lot of sand permanently baked into my frame for a while lol. They either covered it up or power washed it out when I took it back for the first touch up appointment.

I believe it was $299 for an exterior detail. I had them also do a polymer paint sealant so that brought the cost up quite a bit but if you want just a normal detail it’s pretty reasonable. I think once I hit 100K miles I’m going to treat the truck to an interior detail there.

 

I'll still park at your site before I leave tho and take us up on that offer!
