You know i like tall and skinny so i will eventually want an LT255/85R16. But i've also considered LT285/75R16 so wide is alright....i just don't want to CMC either :|

Are your duratracs wearing thin already? They had plenty of meat on them the last time i saw them.....

What overall outside diameter are you looking for?

I'd go for 255/85/17, tall skinny tires are superior to wide tires I everything but sand, and there's not a whole lot of sand around here. As a plus, 255/85 is the same OD as a 285/75, just skinnier

The tires I have aren't duratrac there those cheap Walmart knock offs. My parents bought them for me shorty after I bought the truck. They under half tread there getting a little slippery when it rains so I'm looking for new ones. I'd like to run a 33 something a little bigger just not sure

Also, you can use your caster adjustment to help with the rubbing by pushing the wheel more forward in the fender, aftermarket uca's will allow for you to do that and still get good camber.

I've read reviews on 255's most people run them with no to little run and the bfgs are 33.4" so there actually taller than a 285

I'd love to go bigger but for now I think I'm just gonna stick with some 265/70/17s as my next set. I don't want to buy/modify all the extra stuff I'd need to run wider tires at the moment haha I would say 285/70s through

My worry is I'm gonna have to cut the crap out of the back of my wheel well or change my front springs to help with the tub of the 285's my fronts got some droop now lolImageUploadedByTapatalk1409750179.850551.jpg

1inch bodylift might help or go with heavier weight spring to compensate for that bumper

I'll take them if you still have them in a month or so when I order my tires. That'll save me a decent chunk of change..

F... :( i'm so unsure about all this shit. Way to many options. I don't want to lift and still be on stock tires (that looks silly). I don't particularly want to lift while i'm in school and have to chase bearings, tie rods, CVs...etc. i just want better than stock....and preferably level. Right now my truck sits perfectly level because of how much my rear is sagging...and i like the level look....so long as it was not riding like a buck board on the ass end (like it is right now) every bump makes me cringe....soon my leafs will snap....i just know it

General springs for the rear, get stock coils and do billies in the front and rear, you can set the fronts to 1.75 to level the truck. In my reaserch, billies are amazing for stock height, they just don't like 3+ inches of lift and being beaten on every weekend.

See there in lies plenty of confusion....i've been told 0.85 would level the front :goingcrazy:

Don't take my word on that setting, I have no idea as I was going to use them on the lowest one with lift coils so I didn't pay to much attention as to what setting does what
