Agreed, did you go with the TRD exhaust?

 

I’d like to add the MBRP one at some point.

Lol, unfortunately no. All extra funds went to puppy, upcoming training classes, vet and all things we needed for her.

 

This must be why all the pertinent questions like cloth or leather, regular or premium gas, wiper brand are needed when buying parts.

 

I called Toyota prior and they said I'd be good. All the questions were answered, just falsely? At the end of the day, got the exhaust I've wanted mint condition, LED fogs, and mud flaps for less than a grand- still a success to me

 

I'm running the MBRP. Love the sound, definitely not obnoxious.

 

Being a dog parent is so expensive these days, it just cost me $180 for food for both of ours

I did not. I have the stainless MBRP turn down pre-axle dump exhaust.

 

2 hrs later still not done my project and had to take a break for lunch and play with the pup.

taking a lot longer than I expected. I’m sure I’ll have to lower the ride height, or at least I think I will. Seems like a lot of load on the springs.

Taking time to clean everything as I go. A little corrosion and dirt to clean up…

 

I wanted to go MBRP, figured it would be a little too loud for what the 4 cyl would put out lol. The TRD is the perfect in between in my opinion

 

I finally found a way to carry two bikes without spending a ton of money. I bought a header rail, two Delta truck mounts that I had to drill the holes out to 7/16” and the mounting hardware. I’m satisfied with it. As a bonus the Delta mounts are lockable.

Got the springs all swapped and the isolators and bushing changed. Will have to drive around and see if the squeaking is still there. About an inch higher right after instal but I need to drive it around and then check again.

Nice. I already have the header rail. May have to switch from using the tailgate pad for my bike.

 

Dang dude, looks great at that height… hopefully it won’t settle too much. What are the rate on the new springs?
