Nope… too many penalties and turnovers… a couple missed FGs didn’t help either

 

Happy Sunday evening. I haven't seen any postings from Darin in a while, hopefully everything is good.

I was chatting w/ the store manager at the Hanover PA store, she told me that there's gonna be one in Westminster, due to open at the beginning of the year.

I've been trying to find a 22" wide series 2 lower box for the past 6 months. I got a mint condition top box in June, not realizing that the series 2 came in an 18" wide and a 22" wide version. The top box that I got is 22" wide and my lower box is 18". The new series 3 lower box can't fit a series 2 box n top, it's about 1/4" too narrow.

 

It was an all around ugly game!

My step-dad has a 4Runner...forgot what year.

He's 6'2 and 210lbs...plenty of room when I visit the Inland Empire in SoCal and ride shotgun.

My previous SUV was the 2003 Silver Honda Pilot EX/Leather DVD purchased in HI in July 2002 for $32K--how times have changed.

It lasted us until Oct 2018 after the kids grew up, got married and I was recovering from bilateral knee replacement.

Never mind the accident that launched me into my current vehicle after refinancing our mortgage.

I'm driving my Sport until the wheels come off! Buahahahaha!!!

Those 4Runners are nice--I will give you that.

Just watched this and pretty disappointed that there is no sun/moonroof on the trail hunter (not that I have 1b for a trail hunter)

 

I just need to wait and see how much out of my budget it is… wife told me she is not on board with it… at all. I told her our kid doesn’t need us to save for college. He’ll probably be alright

 

How I see it, the more vehicles in the driveway, more practice the young chap gets to become a great mechanic!

 

Yeah and new cars are basically the same price as 4 years of college now so there’s really no difference. If it costs the same then it must be equally as good for the family right?

 

You got a 529 Plan started at the birth of your child...right?

Heck, I didn't but somehow our daughters got their degrees.

Eldest has a Master's Degree from SNHU and the youngest went to DelTech for LVT.

Our family has a MD Teacher and Vet Tech...and their husbands have careers of their own: Bio Tech Specialist and Architect attending Drexel.

I gave my daughters the GI Bill I did not use...split in half.

Heck, I'm not college material...plus, I got my CCAF while on active duty.

Sounds like you have your work cut out if your wife is not on-board...just sayin'.

 

We decided not to do a 529. Didn’t like the restrictions and I’m not an everyone has to go to college type of person. We have been saving and it’ll probably be alright, depending on future price hikes.

I think our plan was to pay my truck off, not have a payment till it’s time for son to need a car. Maybe give him my truck and I get something new. Lots of choices. Him getting something new to drive is not one of them though. Maybe, just maybe a several year old Tesla for in and around town. I don’t know what they cost though.

He probably won’t go through 5 or 6 self bought and fixed beaters like I did in high school

Kids are/can be unpredictable.

Mine figured out funding and used the donated GI Bill for payments.

My Drexel son-in-law is the mechanical one of the two in-laws.

I'm guessing your son watches your tinkering skills...hopefully, he takes flight with that.
