The ones that hold the bed to the frame. lol I wanted to use them to mount my tool chest to my bed and get rid of the janky rail mount I had thrown together and used for the past year. looks much cleaner and its a hell of a lot more sturdy.

I didn't measure but i'd say roughly 6 inches. If you look in your wheel wells you'll see these little cylinders that extend down about an inch from the bottom of the bed and the bolts go through those into a nut that's welded inside the frame. It's sort of a strange looking bolt though. It has a self-tapping point and its a lag bolt. And the washers are connected to the bolt. lol

Haha haha Yea it works but I think there are better options out there... Someone want to take the lead on the Green Stuff pads with some EBC slotted rotors, might be a bit before I can get those ordered and installed.

Thanks I'll let you know, currently it's at the shop waiting for a total loss or repaired, if it's a total loss I'll be looking to buy another Tacoma, 2012 with a V6 or brand new with a V6 depends on what happens. I'll be trying to buy back my original too.

I have the stage 5 kit. Dimpled and slotted rotors with YELLOW stuff pads....and they are awesome. Very happy with them. Just wash your wheels every few weeks lol

I need to learn how to do a brake job :anonymous: how many miles did you guys get out of the stock pads? I've never personally looked at them and have 41k miles.. I'm sure Toyota did during one of the times I was there for the free oil changes early this year though.

need to look at them, depending on how hard you are on the brakes will dictate their life. i need to check mine soon, will probably do it when i have the truck apart for a wheel bearing.

I had 1/3rd pad life left at 36k miles. And wanted more performance. I glazed my stock pads from too much heat. I haven't come close to that issue with the EBC kit.

A brake job involves....remove the old rotors, place new on. Remove old pads....lubricate the new and install them. Reinstall the safety clips. You can probably do it. No need to mess with brake fluid if it isn't low or anything weird like that.
