    bLowe's blows

I absolutely LOVE when i am in blowes....and refer to it as "blows"

I also have told an emplyee or two that the best thing that could ever happen to that store....is a HomeDepot in the same town. :D

Well after spending 3 days running between Luray Va. and Winchester on a job work trial I now know my whole front end needs to be rebuilt, job didnt work out put 460miles on my truck and the company was not going to reimburse me for mileage and that was to much for my old truck to handle every day so there will be no 4wheeling for me in the near future still planning on going to the BigDogs event just not gonna wheel at all.

Best Buy had the same refrigerator for $200 less but the 10% discount made it the same price. HD has way better customer service than the local Best Buy. ;)

The last time i was in a home depot the employees were damn near fighting over who got to help me....never get help in blowes. I usually just use the store map on the lowes website on my phone to find what i need.

Here in Bowie both chains offer a lot of the same products but each have a lot of items the other store does not carry. For basic lumber I usually go to HD as the selection is better and the quality is better. If I need a popular wood that is not pine of pressure treated I go to Lowes. Lowes also seem to have a bigger selection of hardware especially stainless steel. Lighting and electrical it is HD with the best selections.

For truly exotic woods, and I use them I go to this store.

What about 84 lumber? I have only ever been to blowes.... :/

Joe, i may have to strafe your work place someday so you can hear my truck. It sounds exactly like the TRD but maybe 25-40% louder. Its only louder on the low end...at WOT the trd screams completely differently.

apparantly its not just $65 to go down there, theres a $35 per head camping fee that they oh so conveniently waited until now to tell everybody about... im not spending almost $100 to go wheel a stock vehicle when i can go to raush for $60 bucks

thats what i mean, they waited until just now to tell everyone that it wasnt included, which is really messed up. that puts the price to bring a family down there well over $200 for a weekend, and its not like its gonna be just us in the campsites either, i was told it was $65 everything included and its would be just the event people in there, now its $65+$35 per person and we have to reserve sites to be guaranteed a spot.... no thanks
