Yea, I was concerned about that. I have seen them go for around price that did turn out true, but I’m sure it’s rare.

 

What's happening, Merry-lunders?

I read a news release a few days ago that outlined the states plan to increase property taxes by 35%. My area is already artificially I flated, the taxes that I pay on the assessed value vs what the same houses actually sell for is already in the $100K "fluffed" range. My mortgage payment has gone up 50% in the past 4.5 years due to the reassessments.

 

Yeah, they are. But from what I understand, it's up to 35%, depending on how much the property value went up in that specific area, if that makes sense. I think 20% was the lowest property value increase that i saw...so yes plan on between 20 - 35% if i understand correctly. I hope I'm wrong.

BGE rates going up too....$26 per month by June, but "it's not our (bge) fault" I call BS.
