Good mornimg md tacos, get ready for the freeze. This time of year is the worst. I was hoping to finish breaking (in) my little gr86 and change the oil before the worst of winter, but sadly no. I think I'll make sure my generator is going to run if needed so we don't freeze, the power grid will be under a strain this week.

It's coming down pretty hard with really big flakes, the weather guessers are still saying 3-5".

I hope that everyone stays safe and warm during this cold snap.

 

Yeppers! Lots of big flakey white stuff falling over past few hours… too wet currently to lay though. See if temp drops over next few hours change things.

 

It almost sounds like rain hitting the roof but I can see the flakes. I wonder if our little valley will "over perform" again with the snowfall.

 

We just had those little ice pellet/grauple things here for a few min. Now nothing.

weather guessers is such a more appropriate word than “weatherman” lol. Yeah I don’t see how its going to stick at all because it’s been in the 40’s for the last 24 hours.

 

It's starting to snow where I am, but it's 37 degrees, so nothing is sticking.

Had a little scare in the Taco yesterday. I was backing into a parking spot at Giant and this A-hole drove between me and the spot I just started to back into. I was backing into a spot next to the building that has a much wider lane. I was diagonal across the lane...and this guy managed to squeeze behind me. Had me wondering, who would be at fault.

 

If you were in reverse without a dash cam, you would probably be at fault, unfortunately.

Highly recommend a front and rear dash cam. Great extra insurance and occasionally nice to get video off there for other things.

 

I have a garmin dash cam and it’s awesome. Not that anyone asked lol

 

I was thinking I would probably be blamed, though the other guy was certainly being reckless. If you're paying attention, you know what I'm doing. That guy wasn't behind me in the aisle when I started.

 

I've had a Garmin Mini 3 in my Amazon cart for a couple weeks but now it's $30 more than when I put it in my cart so now I'm waiting for the price to go back down.

 

Smart! That’s exactly what I have, it’s awesome and their app is really good too. I actually got a second one for my mother in law for Christmas.
