    So you'll go with 285/70/17?

Anyone know the best place to get a set of Duratracs in 265/75/16 here in MD. I've been quoted 1200 installed for a set of 4 with road hazard warranty in Glen Burnie at AAA and also Mr. Tire.

Try the Tirebuyer, they ship to your installer. Butler here in Frederick normally charges about $60 to install.

Mr. Tire will price match online prices (sans labor). I can't remember the exact number, but I think I got the 285/75/16 Duratracs down to $1030 out the door... I ultimately went with the Geolanders though because I found the Duratracs rubber to be too soft for my taste.

    See Build Page.
With road hazard that's prolly normal. I go to merchants they want 250 a tire and 33 a tire road hazard... I normally get them talked down to 200 and 28. Since I keep going back to the same store.

If you are getting duratracs look at the kelly safari versions... I forget the name but it has the exact tread pattern the duratracs have and cheaper...

I only got 4 35's from Thayer. I then bought a matching wheel and new Nitto for a spare. The spare hasn't ever seen dirt.
I'm buying 3 new ones and taking the spare for a full set then just using one of the old ones as a spare.
I'll then have 3 to use as lawn ornaments.

He had an unused spare on his rear bumper.

He plans to put one of his old tires on the rear bumper to use as a temp spare

That explains it. Makes more sense anyway... You now have 4 spares! Should get some steel 17's for like 25 bucks a pop for them incase you ever needed them!

Shhh :p let the master speak

tool chest, vent visors, tuffy bed box, scangauge, Bilstein 5100's, OME 885x springs, Wheeler's HD AAL, LED map, dome, and reverse lights, Bestop Supertop.

I don't have one, but almost bought one and decided against it. I've heard some people say they're great but there are a few people saying that it didn't code correctly or that it's really touchy too. I decided against it really just because I didn't think I really needed it. I have a roll up tonneau so if someone really wanted to get into my bed it wouldn't be hard, and I don't usually keep anything loose back there except for boots and hard hat sometimes. Loose stuff is always in my locked toolbox or in the cab.

Are you looking at the keyed one, or the keyed and electronic version?
