You're right, beautiful stuff down there for great pricing. My lease was up in mid May and unfortunately ran out of time before I found something. If I had more time I think my GF and I would have ended up down there. Maybe in the next couple of years.

2008 ACLB base model SR5 4x4 4.0 auto in Indigo Ink Pearl (dark blue) ABSOLUTELY RUST FREE 141,398 miles at time of death. I’m keeping my lift and a ton of parts but there will be a ton more up for grabs. I can make the truck run and drive on completely stock suspension if someone wants to try to save it, but they will have to understand due to my extreme sentimental attachment, if someone wants to put it back on the road, its going to be VERY expensive to buy as a whole running and driving truck and even more expensive to save it.
As in, if I take the time to make in run and drive and be completely back to stock, someone is going to have to pay probably $8500 cash for it for me to even consider it.

So i’d rather save the motor for myself and a ton of other parts for myself and part it out. Someone can save this cab and frame with some time on a frame machine and some body work.

most of the parts from it will be going on the red truck to make it more to my standards 2.5” lift and 33s is about perfect for me.

So the red truck should have most of the same parts but I intend to do the following:
A better remote start system
ARB front bumper
Emissions secondary air pump block off
Morimoto headlights and mirror signals
20% ceramic tint all the way around
A plate rear bumper that keeps the oem hitch
Hitch 7pin relocation bracket
Swap in my pioneer radio
Front camera to compliment the ARB bumper
Tons and tons of maintenance upgrades. Its going to be a ton of work. Its already cost me a bunch of nights and weekends.

Thank you for the offer. I'm sure I'll take you up on it at some point. Once my GF gets over how much I just spent on new front shocks, leaf springs, and archive hangars/cross tube, an archive rear shock relocation is up next I think. A little rusty on welding so I'll be reaching out ha.

I'm not used to people offering help or having actual room to work on my truck. I've been doing maintenance on the side of city streets while my GF watches so I don't get run over. Or in auto zone parking lots ha.

 

I couldn't fathom living in the city and not having this view I currently have.
