Decided to drive my truck in to work today, got in it and it said 180 miles till empty and 3/4 tank :bananadead:

Forgot to look at the mpg when I got done driving, maybe I’ll remember when I get home.
I think this is the first drive to the office with the snorkel, so I’m curious.

@hyrule_trd I think you should just drive the truck to work everyday and start modding the Camry

I do need to add tint and a dash cam to the Camry. New speakers would be nice…

It’s a shame that just as my truck is paid off and I could try and save for more truck mods, I gotta throw the money at another car payment and gas. Bright side is I’ll plan to pass the Camry to my son when he can drive in a few years. He’ll get a car much much better than my first several cars

wanted new gears and some odds and ends.

First of all, Good morning neighbors to the west. :pccoffee:

I don't know how you do it, Eric...commuting all that way...and getting up so early.

My wife asked/mentioned politely that we need to do some inside cleaning the next two days.

I've been focusing on the yard Mon/Tue and since it's Father's Day this Sunday, it's my day to rest! lol

I've got 13 payments on my truck...and my wife already has plans for the money to go to something else! lol

    Have a good day!

Tell your wife you need that money for truck upgrades!

Waking up early and driving 70 miles sucks but I like what I do.

Tomorrow is gonna be worse… 70 miles to work then another 60 miles towards Cape May.

we also have some indoor cleaning. We’re going away for vacation soon and things need to be cleaned. Not that the pup won’t tear up cardboard and other stuff and make a mess

Good morning everyone. All of the "loan paid off" talk had me looking, I will have mine paid off in September. I honestly think that it is the 1st time that I've ever kept a vehicle long enough to pay off the loan, things usually got traded before that ever happened.

    Buahahahaha!

    After new Wheels/Tires...

All I really need is a Diamond Back SE Tonneau Cover...and I like the Yakima Rack System but not sure if I'll utilize it for kayak or Canoe.

Here's the look of it and current pricing:

Well you know I have two kayaks for sale if you want them!

On the topic of paying trucks off, I paid mine off last year so now I have extra money for mods but it’s too overwhelming and I don’t know what to get so I just stopped getting stuff for the truck for a while lol.

I feel like it’s pretty dialed in at this point for how I use it anyway.

    Thanks for the offer RW.

I'm sure my wife would be thrilled to see me put more stuff in the garage/shed. lol

Morning all. Just paid my truck off last year . I’ve been modding what I can but my gf’s Corolla has been getting all the upgrades.

Her head unit died the month I paid my truck off which lead to a new unit, then speakers, then soundproofing. Then one of her TPMS failed which lead to replacing all 4 sensors, and new wheels and tires. I hate finding problems because then I dig and keep finding stuff that I “have” to replace. Just last month I finally could get some stuff for myself and ordered new struts, leafs, u-bolt flip, brake line extend, and hammer hangers and cross tube which just showed up. I’m dreading the hangar install so I’ve been finding other things to do on her car ha.

@hyrule_trd I gained about 1mpg when I put my snorkel on but that was city driving. Now that I’m down here I’m getting almost 2 mpg better. The biggest difference I noticed, which could be placebo, was a little more pep in its step. Not necessarily more power but smoother throughout the rpms. I did replace my spark plugs near the same time though so take that all with a grain of salt ha.

Nice. I just need to remember to look but I’m not expecting any real change. The extra wind resistant lights probably won’t help either.

That said, even if I never drive in the desert or dusty areas the snorkel looks great! Definitely happy with it on there.

Hell yeah. Seems pretty polarizing but I love the look of a snorkel on these trucks. It was such a pain getting that boot on I wouldn’t take it off even if I hated it haha.
