    yeah, i destroyed mine in a parking garage in DC earlier this week...the preference is to replace with the painted covers...cause BBP is the best color and need to keep as much of it on as I can:cool:....

    What would be better for sleeping in the truck bed, a 4” memory foam mattress topper or 3” Polyurethane Foam mattress topper. It shouldn’t be freezing when I camp, so I shouldn’t have to worry about the memory foam becoming hard as a rock. Don’t know if the latex foam does or not.

    last time I camped in my truck, even with the air mattress it was pretty uncomfortable. I do had a bed mat but that doesn’t help. I’ll still use the air mattress.

    or maybe a memory foam with pillow top on top of the air mattress?

    @hyrule_trd I have a 4 inch mattress I put in the bed. If you are looking for one get a narrow twin that is the size I have. It's 30 inches wide so gives you some space in the bed for stuff.

    That’s kind of what I was thinking. It’s not meant to be the actual bed, going under the air mattress but just to keep my back good after sleeping.

    I was considering getting a full or Queen and cutting out around the wheel wells. I might be bringing my pup and I’ve no idea where she’ll try and sleep in there. The air mattress fits between the wheel wells

    Yep....no one got hurt or died but a beautiful reminder of what a dumb arse i can be when I'm tired and rushing around for work...certainly something i can replace on my own.

    Was hoping for experiences with the cheap versions vs the expensive ones.

    Appears to be the OEM come non painted with some vendors offering to paint match them. Hence the increased price.

    The cheap ones appear to be paint matched but seeing notes about OEM versions are textured paint vs smooth? Haven't been able to figure this one out yet.

    Not sure and am prolly over thinking all this...

    Racked up 9k miles in 16 months on the ole 650. It only had half a mile when I bought it. Next I plan to buy a 450cc dual sport to build myself a lightweight street legal woods bike. I'll keep the 650 for a commuter. Between the dual sport & my street legal SxS my yotas just sit.

    Been exploring Green Ridge, Buchanan State forest & Sleepy Creek. Also commuting for work. I had to install a larger capacity gas tank. GR & Buchanan are connected by gravel roads. Between the 2 thats 120,000 acres of forest roads & trails.
