Shame they dont have any need for second gen tacoma parts

i’m busting my ass and shit just isnt selling. I cant give it all away.

 

That’s why most people just give it to insurance and make a clean break.

 

I would’ve lost almost $10k on that. In keeping it, I only lost about $6k. Just trying to cover the losses and help people save their trucks since I couldn’t save mine.

When i was trying to sell my lifted trail rig Landcruiser I was told numerous times to just part it out. The front & rear locked diffs were selling for $1500 alone. But then ive got a 80series sitting with no wheels and ive gotta disassemble and sell the rest, no thanks. I use to buy & sell alot of yotas and Chevelles, waiting on no shows & dealing with bs'ers gets old quick. Guess as im getting older I lost my patience to deal with people. I sold my Casita camper, my 65 Caddy, my 68 chevelle and my 2 Landcruisers by simply responding to WTB post in related FB groups. Alot easier that posting my own for sale ads and dealing with a bunch of bs'ers.

As much as I appreciated you showing me the trail beater LC, and I could see the potential in it- working on it my driveway was something that I didn't want to do. I will always regret not getting that one from you, but the reality is that the people that got both of them from you were in a better position to perform the work and get some more life out of them. That brown one was unbelievably clean, it ought to be a hoot to drive with the 4.7 drivetrain in it.

 

Both were dark green. I agree it was clean & completely rust free. That undercarriage & frame wasn't even orangy. I no longer have my garage to wrench in. I use to be able to use my work after hours & weekends to wrench in. I helped install a few fellow TW members suspension lifts at my old job after hours. I don't miss wrenching for a living but I definitely miss wrenching as a hobby. I loved buying someone else's junk and bringing it back to life. Im still driving my $500 tacoma that i bought back in 2013. The po was gonna sell it to Crazy Ray's junkyard.
