I’ve always wanted a jeep so I’m jealous but that’s a tough one. Especially since the taco is paid off. I definitely don’t think it would be wrong to get a new 4 runner! Sorry that’s not very helpful haha but it definitely isn’t a bad idea, it seems logical to me.

I’d probably sell the taco and keep the Jeep as a toy?

I prefer the Off Road 5th gen 4Runner it has the manual transfer case and was the only reason I briefly considered a 4Runner instead of a truck. I don't need the passenger room so that's an easy one for me. I also wanted one with out the moon roof, or premium package with out those options a new Offroad was considerably less. I'd look for a Venture Series which is an OR with the manual t-case SEMA wheels and softex seats basically a Pro with out the Fox suspension and even has the black bumper valance out front and no side badging and came with a Yakima roof basket. Toyota built maybe from 2020 to 2023, don't forget Toyota added LED headlights for 2021.

I think I'd keep the truck or a truck no matter what. There's a nice two door Bronco at the dealer down the road looks like it's Azure Gray or some shade of blue 35"s it has the cool metal front bumper and has been there for a little while I think it looks really good even thought about going to look at it, but it's no where as useful as the truck I would trade in for it could ever be. I could see myself getting rid of the Bronco for another truck later on out of necessity.

Jeep is really cool, family loves it, but like anything else, it takes extra time to remove doors etc. when I could compromise just having a moonroof and rear window in the 4Runner.

I had considered it several times and once in a while still do. If you’ve got a place for a trailer or a friend you can barrow one when you need it, a 4R is kind of a truck then

My wife has a large SUV and we decided to keep the truck and not get a 4R. I also had to get a good mpg vehicle to go to work and it smashed my dreams of a 4R.

Great thing about the 4R is the window in the back goes down…

    Definitely a tough choice.

I don’t think you’re crazy at all… I’m about $5k away from paying off my 2020 and have been debating it too. I love my truck, but I have two 13 year old twins and a boat. The Taco is about maxed out for our needs. But, a Tundra or GX550 would be really nice upgrade for us all!! And both would accept my 6lug wheels off the Taco. I’m not down for the 4cyl turbo platform, but definitely would go the twin turbo v6 direction!

I think life changes, and you have to change with it…

I will throw a wanted ad up but figured id start with the local group here

Im trying to locate a 265/75/16 tire.
Ideally a falken wildpeak to match what I have. Had a bad alignment and one is pretty uneven but am open to other brands.

Let me know if you have something. Happy to purchase and meet.
Im in glenelg/ellicott city area and work in union bridge area.

    Thanks so much

That’s some good eating right there!! They’ve become a delicacy around here as of past few years.

I would have to change my drawls of that was on my hook

Tried "walking the frog" today. Not sure if it's my technique or the cheap ozark trail frog, but no dice.

Maybe a little of both? Frogs are hard to use to at first. I like to keep the line tight and flick the rod a little, then let it sit a second or two and tighten the line and repeat. I’m not sure about the Ozark Trail stuff, that’s like Walmart’s outdoor brand? I like my Rapala BX frog. Lunkerhunt and 6th Sense make some good ones too.
