    Got my MD plates today. Very easy at the MVA surprisingly. Weird that they keep the title and mail you a new one? I did not like handing my title over. That paper cost me 50k. First time I’ve had this happen and I asked 100 times if they were sure.

    Sounds weird but I can’t be sure. Also, not sure if all states do it but MD has 2 titles if you finance your vehicle and then you need to request a new one when it’s paid off.
