So I made the mistake of reading Blackdawg's SOS Story, and now I really want to go camping.

I'm moving to VA in a month, but I'll be down to make the drive if we can actually get a group together and plan out a trip or two for the spring.

That's the kind of wheeling that I've always wanted to do. More of an expedition/adventure than just a day trip to go play on some rocks. Lol although I haven't legit done that either yet and I'm sure it's fun too :D

I mainly called it a mistake because my want list probably just doubled and I'm still broke as hell. Lol :( boooo

If it's something that my truck can handle without getting destroyed (2.5" lift and 32s) then definitely yes. And why wait until summer? :p

Yep, mostly fire and logging roads. Its a really cool place nothing major whatsoever. The cool thing is that you can pull over and camp wherever you want to! Maybe Ill have this sucker done by then, I just got it but already have plans to paint to match the Taco and its gonna have a Roof Top Tent, Big Tires, Electronics, and Camping setup for overland travel!

I would love to do an expo trailer with some sort of air bag suspension so that you could avoid the rocking and swaying motion you aparently can feel when using a RTT

Thats all way down the road. I'm gonna bust my ass this year and try to get some things payed for

Its going to change camping for me I think, to have everything right there behind the truck is great, and I always wanted a RTT but couldn't justify the gas mileage loss if I had it on the daily driver. The trailer is the perfect mix. I will start a build thread for it though!

I need a workbench. Have absolutely NO space for one. Would be awesome to finally have some uninterrupted work area. Nope, my curse.

i'll be making at least one trip to GWNF, Rausch Creek, and the Cove this summer. there is also a new park called Red Cloud Off Road in Woodbridge, VA that'll be making a trip or two to. with the exception of the Cove, all of the parks have trails that are friendly to stock/near stock trucks. all are welcome of course.
