Yea, $650 for the short bed, +$75 for a mesh back panel (which id like), and + $50 for a a cover. With shipping it'd be right around $800 I believe.

I was hoping I could possibly find a used one for about half that though.

Well that is a little pricey but still cheaper than a new hard cap.Although almost everyone who has 1 on TW that I read about says they dont seem to fit right and make a water tight fit something to think about..but they are convenient for 1 man install/removal

Yea that's why I was hoping to find one used.. I really like the functionality of them. It's got the accessibility of a tonneau but can still carry larger things like with a cap. As long as the bed wouldn't get flooded everytime it rains I could deal. I usually don't have anything that has to stay completely dry back there anyways. If I can find one used I wouldn't really even care about the color or anything just as long as it's in good condition.

Did they get caught? Arrested? I mean your truck had to be in the road or a parking lot... Both of which are illegal to shoot on or across in NJ...

That kid would be strung up by his nuts if I caught him... Id make sure he gets hit with the book. If he is caught hell be a felon for the rest of his life... Personally Id go door to door in that area...

That Sucks! If you heard it at all it probably sounded like a rock hit.

If you haven't already reported it to the police do so and get started with the repair process.

So then theres gotta only be a few houses... Personally Id go door to door and be polite and ask if they have kids and explain the situation to them... Sometimes youll get an honest person sometimes you won't but there is always a taddler out there who will say something to you or the police about it and turn the kid in... And being its a sunday go right around noon and theyll all be home...

Damn that sucks Joe ,I'd bet it was kids and they will never admit to it plus there idiot redneck parents are liable to point a gun at you for trespassing if your go knocking on doors and asking a guestion like that .Thats the cops job.
