Nice, i need to acquire some electronic gismos so all the wiring that Skygear put in can actually be used instead of hiding in my engine bay and overhead console

You know mileage doesnt mean anything in a Toyota the better question is which has less frame rot but that probably doesnt apply to these since he keeps at least 2 of them garaged during the winter

The silver 02 4runner, it has 87k. The tacoma has 150k but the motor has a little over 70k. My black runner has 187k. Yeah GreenGen I drive a beater 00 Honda Accord during the winter months. Guys at work laugh when I pull up on a snowy day in my Honda when I have 3 4x4's at home. That lil' accord does good in the snow tho'.

I'll be in Charlestown, WV this Saturday I think if you want to drive West and meet me somewhere I can take the truck and the exhaust with me instead of the car.

I'll be at the bay striper Fishing the next weekend but I'm not the one driving and we're not taking a truck so I have no way of bringing it that weekend cause that's closer to you.

I know, I'm looking for a mid to late 90's locked landcruiser now. The ones I find are either rusted or not equipped with lockers. I have my eye on a nice lifted & locked white one that's here in canton. The owner says when he's ready to sell I'll be the first to know.

Now that the weather is warming up, I want to fix the 1/2" Taco lean on my truck... I called up Wheeler's and asked if I could use the 10MM spacer, but it turns out that when Toytech assembled my front coilovers they used standard length screws and not the extended length ones that would allow for a spacer to be added.

In order to put in the spacer to correct my lean I am going to need to disassemble the coilover, does anyone know anyone that has access to a spring press or the tools to do this?

I have a set of the spring compressors that you can get at advance auto. I don't think they're unsafe (a lot of people do but I had no issues) they're just a pain in the ass unless you have an air impact. You're more than welcome to borrow them if you want.

Dave works at a shop and I believe has a wall compressor.. I'm sure he could help if you ask nicely ;)

Id use the above method if you cant get access to a wall mounted compressor, the kind that you can get at advance auto really aren't designed for the spring rates these trucks use, and while they work, they are a PITA and can suddenly come undone if the two sides aren't tightened in the correct way

Tim. I'm in Prince Frederick MD and we have a wall mounted spring compressor in the shop. How far are you?

Hey Andy, you are about a 90min drive. I won't have the parts for this fix for another 2 weeks, so it's no rush. Ideally I'd like to find a wall compressor as close to home as possible, but I might end up taking a day drive down to you.
