Canopy as in like my Bestop? I would just leave the side windows undone on the bottom and I could reach out and unzip the window. Not sure about a softopper though.

I don't like having things mounted to the top of the bed rails, otherwise rollup is a fine idea.

The trifold is completely removable in 3 minutes or less

Im only chasing the aluminum because its easy to take on and off, since it wont weight a million pounds, otherwise id be after a tonneau, probably a roll up one

I like my roll up cover no need to take it on an off it rolls up completely out of the way. Well that was when it was on the truck

Welcome. We have a meet coming up on Sunday May 17th at York PA. It'd be a straight shot up 83, from Glen Burnie you'd want to mostly hit 695 west to 83 but someone more familiar with that area can give you more advice. That meet will be to plan a camping/wheeling trip. Theres not much in the way of wheeling legally in MD unless you have your own land. Greenridge state forest out in Frederick County would be the closest to "legal wheeling" and its mostly just dirt road driving. You can also wheel on the beach with proper permit during the proper time. A few posts up is the link to the York meet.
