    FML:mad:

Pulled out of my garage to go to the bar with 98regstick and FirstTacoma2011. Didn't even get all the way out of the garage and clunk. Kept driving....clunk.....clunk.....clunk. Pulled back in the garage, did a little diagnosing. Pulled the 3rd member out and here it is. The pics can do the rest of the talking.

I'm not going to say my truck has had an easy life but I don't beat on it. I really can't think of anything I've done to destroy the ring gear. The truck still has it's original U-joints and CV's with 111,000 miles.

Pinion looks good. It has one very small indentation but other than that it looks fine.

Since the front diff is getting an ARB this week and will be apart anyway, I'm ordering 4.56 gears instead of just replacing it with 4.10's.

Haha na man. I guess I should have said, "finally got these *on* this weekend". My brain is a little fried right now too. Those decals went on easier than I would have thought, no problems whatsoever. Hardest part was not getting hit by oncoming traffic whilst applying them. Living in the city and modding your truck does not mix well.

So has anyone done the LED mod for the gauges on the dash? I want to redo all my lights on the interior and have no solder gun or even know how to solder for that matter.

    hello,

First post for me in this thread. I just picked up a '12 OR and as soon as that dial hits 500 miles I wanna do some wheeling. Where can I find some novice trails to get my feet wet? I have wheeled before, mostly just trail riding but some good stuff back in NM. And yes, I am afraid of damage right now.

Truck is a completely stock TRD OR, and I live in Baltimore City. Id be willing to drive, but need a place I can go solo just to wet my appetite until I get lift/sliders.

Falls Rd. a chance? Or would I really need to be careful on the lines I pick to avoid damage?

    Thanks y'all.

Sunavbitch!! I am going to the Beach Creek meet in PA that weekend. We need to meet up sometime. I really want this done.
Welcome! And I dont know too much about that area. There is many illegal places to ride. I know that there is a place near Timmonium at the FILA USA business park that is some light wheeling. Maybe a hour or so of some dirt. I know its pretty fun when it is muddy there.

Sounds like some fun. I gotta see what my brother is doing. Maybe we will join you!

Steve, there is a guy who works at the Bel Air Best Buy who has a lifted Tacoma similar to yours (lift, black wheels, SSM)...I thought it was you until I realized I can see the stickers, then I remembered you are the resident sticker snob and knew it wasn't yours...
