    Same as everybody else...
I took mine off today,I used Goo Gone and a small brush to work it in.The tape was along the large front of the mirror and took a little work to get the Goo Gone back there. I let it sit for about 2 minutes and then just pulled the cap off. Goo Gone does seem to attack the black plastic mirror so have a bucket of water handy. Most of the adhesive stayed on the cover, just a little left on the mirror itself.

well, it seems the vibration from the truck being out of alignment hid another issue, i think my driveshaft is out of balance and theres a bearing/joint squeaking somewhere in either my trans or the rear driveshaft.... on the upside, i like how stiff the TRD offroad coils are compared to the SR5 springs

Being out of alignment will not cause vibrations. Usually vibes are caused by something out of balance such as wheels, bearings, or joints. The alignment has nothing to do with those

well, I doo have some scratch marks, so it made contact with something at some point, probably the same rock that i crushed my stock skid plate with, but i suspect U-joints, the when i greased them the first time they still had the factory paint on them, so nobody has touched them for 100k miles....

I was worried that was going to be the case. Why the hell would the bolt come like that from the factory

My cousin works at A1 Driveshaft, he does drive shaft balancing, straightens bent drive shafts, he even builds brand new shafts. He's located in Baltimore city near Key highway, not far from the stadiums. If you need his services i can have him do it on the side for you, cheaper that way and he usually has it done next day. Let me know.

Simple, if the bolt was facing the other way it would fall out and the front suspension would be destroyed if the UCA fell out. The frame is put together before the body is put on so therefore it's a non issue to Toyota

Wouldn't the new bolt not go back in because of the same issue that is keeping the old one from coming out?

Why would Toyota use safety wire if they could just install it the other way before the Body is even on the frame :notsure:

Not if you reinstall the opposite way.
