going to pick up the new breaker and a plug for the install after work today.

on another note, I need to pick up one of those dewalt portabands. my guys use them at work just about every day and love them. just need to get one for home use now. I've got a ton of 18v dewalt batteries for other tools, so maybe i'll get the battery one. love the AC power, but it'd be nice to a battery one for "oh shit" trail use.

Guess it takes too much juice for the outlet in the bed?

Get up with Tim, @Bawlmore. I got it and a few other tools from him. Got a great deal and I love all the tools he sold me.

I'm sure it does. You could charge the batteries for the battery powered one, but at 400 watts, the outlets is putting out just over 3 amps....barely enough for a small led bar, much less a tool that has a brushed motor that will see resistance. I have A 5000 watt inverter that will run 20 of them at once. But that's a pain to hook up with gator clips to the battery and all.

Alright so I'm proactively trying to increase my gas mileage... Here's my chart for my morning commute I feel like I'm accelerating slower then a snail but the chart seems to counter that... Any thoughts? I don't have my ultra hooked up so I don't have throttle position stats but I feel like I'm barely pressing it.

My Escape tracks average and instant MPG. I noticed when I am doing 80 and left of the gas and coast, instant reads 99.9mpg. I have a theory to do 80 to 50, then creep back up to 80 and viola, better MPG!

(BTW, I may be dumb but I ain't stupid and this is all sarcasm)

Are you tracking your fuel mileage at each fill up? That will be the ultimate confirmation that your new habits are helping. I average about 23-1/2 mpg in my 4 banger with mixed driving.

anyone ever bought a used car (privately) in VA and had to get it back to MD without a trailer? I don't feel like paying $200 to rent a car trailer for the weekend. I can pay $5 online at the VA DMV site to get a 3 day temporary registration, but MD doesn't really have anything like that. would rather not grab the texas tags off of my truck to drive this car home, but I may just have to.....

I usually just ask the seller if they would let me drive home on their tags, then FedEx them back the next day, other than that Maryland is a pain, I think you would need the bill of sale and the title BEFORE you can get 30 day temp tags
