When Chip stopped by on Saturday for slider installation we mocked up a light bar to go behind his grill to hold his 20" Rigid light bar. He did a little field test Saturday night to make sure all was good then gave them back Sunday. I just made them from some sheet stock and plasma cut then welded together. The finished product will be a one piece part, CNC plasma cut, formed on a press brake then powder coated. I have them sitting here on my desk now so I can get them drawn up and make a set.

For our sliders, we are confident in saying that we have THE STRONGEST full bolt on, no drill rock sliders on the market. No one does what we are doing with ours to guarantee maximum strength. Our design utilizes two different clamping systems to eliminate any flexing. One clamp toward the front that wraps around the frame "boxing" it in and then at the back the main flange that bolts against the chassis turns up, then is clamped down using beam clamps that are often used to hold i-beams together. We use four, they're rated at 12,000 lbs of force, each! Last improvement is where the square tube that runs parallel with the pinch seam, in most competitors it is a long, unsupported moment arm that will fail and crush up in to the cab of the truck. To get around this issue, we added a piece of 2" square tube to cantilever out to eliminate the moment arm.

I still have yet to get any real good pictures of all these enhancements but talk to Tim or Chip and they'll tell you.

Oh, yeah! I was sold on the slider design since I first saw the details. I was curious about the light bar mount because a good set of aux. lights are on my list. My truck thanks you, my checking account does not. Ha.

    Hi guys,

I have a factory exhaust off my 05 that I'm giving away if anyone wants it. Lived all its life in Georgia and no off roading so it's in great shape. I upgraded to the TRD exhaust and it's been sitting in my garage and now its gotta go. Let me know if anyone is interested otherwise it's going to be recycled. I can send pics if interested.

Also, does anyone have a spare engine cover they would be willing to sell? I cracked mine and being the perfectionist I am, it irritates me.

Anyways, I'm fairly new to Maryland and have been stalking everything on this forum for awhile. I hope to get a chance to meet up with you all one day. Sadly I work on Saturdays, so I miss out on most of the meets.

    Kevin

Yes I can confirm that these sliders are solid. Absolutely no flex at all with my fat ass on them. I plan on heading up to Centralia PA and will get some photos of them in action if I can find a good place to play.

Maybe showing the underside, the angled up portion, how the back end is made to eliminate the moment arm.

I have tons of pictures, but they're all kind of crummy and hard to show what we are talking about.

Hit a deer in the Escape on Saturday night, minor crack to the front bumper. First thing I tell my wife: "Welp, this turd is totaled. Looks like Monday will be a 3rd gen day." She says: "Like hell!" Ahh love.

Yeah. It was a low speed hit, only put a tiny crack in my bumper. And yes, I would love a T4R. Haha
