eBay has a touch more vetting so you don't risk being robbed. I've sold cars in eBay but haven't bought one. The ads are mostly like the classified. Three popped up. 1st gen, 4wd, access cab, silver or black. One was an or. I didn't put a distance limit so two were in New York and one in SC. Prices ran 10k - 13k.

Usaa and other banks have buying services which include used cars, too. I bought a nice 2005 legacy gt, low miles, using the service as a pointer. Didn't actually use the service.

Not driving her everyday anymore so I made up this little mount for the Hi-Lift. Better then paying the 120$ for the "Real" mount.

 

Did you weld on the tabs or are they the original fog light tabs ..

 

Just used the fog tabs and some hardware!

 

Also some kind of cable lock might a good idea or other method of securing it

Wow that looks like a great deal when I was looking to replace mine I couldn't find anything that clean and low mileage and even then they wanted more $$$

That's the problem with buying off eBay and out of state can't physically look at it

 

I have never purchased a vehicle from eBay. I was somewhat wondering how that worked. I'd be okay with a deposit so I could go to get it, then if it was a POS, not have to pay for it and get deposit back?

 

Put a shout in th NY thread see if someone will go look at it for u the aucion doesn't end for 16 days.

 

Not sure although I did bid on 1 that was actually at local dealership but went past my set limit

By the way had the cops at the house today neighbors complained about my neighbors shooting and because I'm normally the one shooting they came to me. Lol I think my horn is going to get stuck at 5am all week long.
