Really cool place in central Pa - not too far from Rausch Creek.

 

Alright so I googled it, and I've heard of the place before cause of the story about the mine fire thats still burning under the town. So where is there to go offroading? or basically the whole town since its been closed down? If any one would be up for a trip there it sounds fun, and def a cool place to explore, given its history and all.

 

I believe another meet is in order.

Centralia is a ghost town so I'm not sure about the legality of wheeling there, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centralia,_Pennsylvania it says 2010 they had 10 people living in the town... I've never been there but I'm excited to explore it.

Camping/kayak/4x4 meet August 24-26 in southern NJ
Camping/kayak/4x4 meet August 24-26. If you don't want to camp or 4x4 and only want to kayak we will be kayaking Saturday for 8+ hrs along the Mullica river. We will most likely be meeting up with a group of my friends and have a nice 20 person flotilla clogging up the river.

Info on the Mullica:
The river provides one of the principal drainages into the Atlantic Ocean of the extensive Pinelands. Its estuary on Great Bay is considered one of the least-disturbed marine wetlands habitats in the northeastern United States. It rises in central Camden County, near Berlin, on the southeastern fringes of the New Jersey suburbs of Philadelphia. It flows generally east-southeast across the state, crossing the Wharton State Forest. Near The Forks, where it receives the Batsto River, the Mullica broadens into a navigable river approximately 20 miles (32 km) long, stretching east-southeast and emptying into Great Bay approximately 10 miles (16 km) north of Atlantic City.

Anybody else plan on going to this ^ meet in NJ? It's my frost chance this year to go camping kayaking and wheeling so I'm going. Be nice to run into some familiar faces though haha.
