I appreciate the offer but i think i'm gonna hold onto it and locate a good used motor, be my winter project. This thing is 20 years old so it should be eligible for historic tags. My buddy put historic tags on his 95 wrangler last year.

I just went thru all the original sales paperwork and maintenance records that the po of the 4runner gave me this morning. He kept everything, even the dealer key tag with the vehicle's info on it. ALLOT of dealer maintenance records including the head gasket recall, brake rotor recall & tb replacements. Owner's manual for the alarm. Manual from Toyota explaining the chassis undercoating. Whenever i buy a used vehicle i always ask for any paperwork & receipts but most people throw that stuff away over the years. From what i've read so far he leased this truck for 3 years then purchased it in 1999.

x-2, the gentleman i just purchased mine from, even mailed me the original lugnuts for the steelie wheels. I bought a 96 cherokee sport 3 yrs ago, and the OE had a bible of parts and service receipts for everything from the delivery to the 230k mark that i got it.

Thats not a terrible price, theres a lot involved. I think mine was around 1200$ but I did go with the 10k lbs Marlin Crawler Kit.

I plan on getting one very soon. What I want is either a 2nd Gen DCLB TRD Sport or 1st Gen Tundra Access Cab with 4.7 TRD OR. Would prefer as close to 100k on odometer as I can find. If they're east cast trucks would want one with replaced chassis. Everything else bone stock

The 540 mark sounds correct when I had to have mine checked by a shop. I took it to Fishers Tire up in Westminster its a hike for you though but they do good work and have decent pricing.

Yeah the $400 one was in Easton by one of my dads construction sites, and the $540 is literally 1 mile from my house.

I don't care for the new ones. I've read so many post about how you're redlining it to get any power out of it. Plus the 4 liters are tried and true. I can't go suv again, I need my bed and I'll need cab space.
