I always had good luck in November down by St. Clements Island on the Potomac. Seems like we always caught the legal limit.

I cleaned out the garage yesterday to park the Taco in and left the Charger parked under the tree. I might bring it in if it gets to bad. I did spend half of the day yesterday removing the road tar from the doors and wheels wells.

Hope everyone made it through the storm safely...last year we lost power for 6 days so we were lucky this time and didn't lose power...damage didn't seem too bad in Harford County...

Anyone know what the dealer charges for a 60k service? I came damn close to hydrolocking my truck tonite :frusty: and im just passed the 60k mark so its a good time to change all my diff fluids and plugs anyway.

Really dont wanna do the work myself, kinda lazy when it comes to the maintance, hated doing my 30k service

I drove the truck home on what seemed to be 5 cylinders, the CEL was blinking but not throwing a code, put in in the garage and got the coils dried and the air filters dried, seems to be running good now, no CEL, oil looks to still be good but im gonna change it just in case, had water pour out when i popped off the air filter...

I found the 30K service on my 2.7L easy to do. I made a mental note to buy a magnet drain plug for the rear diff at the 60K mark. One nice thing is I am not due for spark plugs till the 120K maintenance.

They said that the cost of this can vary. But the price will be close to this at most dealers.

Damn dude; sounds like you got pretty lucky. I kinda wish I had a snorkle sometimes just for the peace of mind. I find if you dont open up the throttle too much you wont get the water. I've been in deep with no problems. Drive slow homie.

Just do the 60K tune-up yourself. Its not that bad, especially when you factor in the $500 you'll spend at the stealership.

On the other hand he does have a great point. I would need help with the plugs and the re-torque of the propeller shaft??

Hey man, if I had the money I'd drop mine off in a second. Its cold, and no one likes being under a truck as filthy as mine. I have dirt in my eyes for days every time.

Plugs were pretty easy, there's a good w/u on here. Prop shaft was just a check and see thing. Mine hadn't budged if I remember correctly.

Need to get back under there and have a look at everything before winter comes and I neglect her for months and put on many miles driving to the mountain. Anyone else here go to whitetail/liberty/roundtop? Got my seasons pass for the 3rd year! Lets hope this winter is better than last's.
