Hell, I used to go to paragon at least once a month.. Even went out for the snow wheeling up there... I. Lucky to get some time to wrench on my truck.. Let alone the possibilities of doing any wheeling.

You just have to know how to drive it. That means know what lane to be in where you are on the beltway in order to hve the least hassles to where you want to go. That said most often you do not want to be on the beltway. Side roads are often easier.

I have found there is no time of the day where 495 is up to speed, as Tom said it's all about knowing which lane to be in on which part...

    Mike:
For close to 20 years I went around the beltway from Bowie to either Alexanderia or Falls Church at 05:00 in the AM. It was not too bad. This was back in the 80's and 90's. Now days even at 05:00 it sucks.

    Too many to list
I just drive agressive , people get out the way fairly quick..

Although i know pretty much what lane to be in at whatever time at any part of the beltway, the VA side of 495 is hell tho..

I'm on the beltway from silver spring to FFX Monday through Friday at 0515... Not too bad, the drive home around 1445 in the afternoon is completely different story...

I resist the urge to shove idiot cars down the road all the dang time.

I on e saw the unholy quadrinity on the belt way... A mini van, with the soccer ball "through" the rear glass sticker, Asian woman driver, diplomatic plates... And she was on her cell phone. Wanna guess how quickly I did my best to get away from her? Lol

Some shit I got on craigslist
    http://baltimore.craigslist.org/pts/3386348426.html

Pretty sick deal on some wheels and tires. Stock FJ wheels and 295/70/17 grapplers for $350

Definitely would require a 3" lift and come cutting, but they would look sick. Someone please hop on this. I like my skinny tires + I dont own a grinding wheel, sawzall or welder. You do though!

Couple things I noticed while at the dealer getting my oil changed yesterday...The TRD Sport brushed aluminum wheels have a silver painted center cap instead of a brushed aluminum look...just thought it was interesting

Also, the 2013 base models do not have a bare plastic or chrome grill surround, it appeared to be painted either MGM or Pyrite on every base model...

Me too, if you find a cheap set of 4, I might split it with you, just let me know.

Also, anyone jumping on the BAMF Black Friday Sale? Trying to see if multiple sets of Sliders ship to the same place for less. If anyone wants to try to do that, I am going to order a set of sliders during this sale. PM, I am asking Jerry at BAMF right now.
