You know what happens to that alcohol/corn syrup (what ever the fuck bull shit you want to call it) when its in gasoline? It turns to water. Creates moisture in the fuel system and motor.

 

More reason to go diesel.

The only time ethanol is acceptable is E85, and thats only because it has an octane rating of like 100-105 or so, so its basically race gas from the pump, you just need more of it. on the downside, you definetly have to change your oil every 5k, and it will be a little milkshakey every time, so quality oils/filters are a must

TPMS isn't on the MSI checklist. Check engine light can even be on and still pass MSI, of course it wont pass emissions with the CEL on. My brother has a 14 tacoma 4x4 and when he installed his new SCS SR8 wheels & duratracs he removed all 4 TPMS and replaced them with rubber valve stems. He just ignores the tire light.

 

that's what I did. stock wheels, but I broke 2 of the 4 tpms's on a single wheeling trip, so rubber it is. been ignoring the light for 4 years now. i'll eventually get around to snipping the wire....
