When my truck was stolen, they took the airbox, mas and intake boot. they cut the wires for the MAS.

Does anybody know how to hardwired the MAS. I want to get the check engine light off.

    First, welcome to TW!
Pics? Story? And every Toyota I have messed with will not run unless the maf is fully hooked up. Other wise it will start for maybe 1-2 sec and die out again. Not just a cel.

Talk to your ins. company and see if you are covered. Then call some salvage yards.

Of all things to take... and not just take, but also cut...

The connector is probably going to be a dealer item, if they'll even sell it with out the whole harness. Best bet there, of course, would be a junk yard.

Of course you'll have to get a MAF Sensor.

What did they do with the vacuum lines? cut em, or remove them correctly? Just another thing you'll have to deal with, although vacuum lines are easily replaced.

If you've ever considered going to an aftermarket air filter, now would be a good time, as it might end up saving you a bit, specially if you can find one used. I haven't had a ton of luck finding the pieces needed to replace my K&N with factory parts with out buying new.
