Mass shooting in Colorado theater....

I find it sad that 14 people were killed and over 60 wounded and all you guys can talk about for 15 pages is what you would or would not have done if you were there with your CCW!!

This scares the hell out of me...My brother, cousins, and I are the likes of people who go to premiers like this...it really sends a chill down my spine, and it takes a lot to do that to me.

X2. I think this movie is an entirely different story but unfortunately given the events has to be pulled for now at least. News said they were considering cancelling Paris debute of the Batman movie and countless other theaters are beefing up security immediately.

 

It's a highly plausible scenario, assuming multiple people had been armed....

 

Haven't seen anything yet and probably a bit early but if I do I will post up. Good idea.

 

I'm really not trying to insinuate or argue or call you out or anything here but I'm just curious, and you don't have to answer of course, if you've ever served or been in a shooting scenario or anything? Because while that scenario is possible it is also possible that a lone, competent, armed or not, person, could find a way to get a clean shot. Maybe he'd get shot trying, but at least he was moving toward the enemy in an attempt. Those gigantic fifteen person shoot outs where everyone just keeps firing don't typically happen in real life, only the movies.

They just didn't have the right kind of specialized training...otherwise they'd take them out with a paperclip and and elastic band.

 

Hmmmm so basically of all the LAPD officers and LA County SWAT team members had inadequate training?

 

I don't want to start a pissing match, as there has already been 16 pages of it. However I still believe one guy with a CCW if he was somewhat close to the shooter would have been more effective and done something to help more than absolutely nothing at all.

 

thats changed the police forever didnt it. hate to say it but those guys did what they set out to ,do be it wrong , and they were near unstoppable makes you think.
