Massachusetts/North east Tacoma meetup?

I am unfamiliar with a slack channel. I’m up for helping plan though

 

I'm not a fan of going to a brewery in boston for a meetup of off-road vehicles. Besides the required drinking and driving, I would think it would be a more "outdoorsy" vibe, this isn't a prius meetup. I may be in the minority and I am only one person though, so


edit: I just looked through a Cali meet up post and saw a video. They met up in a park in the middle of a city, which might not be a bad idea, or some of these off road trails by falls river or whatever. I am not sure where most of the guys on here are coming from.

More importantly (to me) it seemed like they got a lot of vendors from the area that make products for the Taco to come out and hand out some swag, sell some products/ install etc... I think that could be really cool if we could get some vendors to come out also. I just don't know if there are many in the new england area that are big in the taco world as I am new myself.

 

I 100% agree. This sounds way better than driving across the state to get beer.

 

I agree on the avoid Boston thinking.

 

It sounds like there are enough coming from the west to plan a Pittsfield/Bennington/Saratoga event? Maybe?

 

That's why I figured the springfield area was right in the middle of everyone here

 

Yeah I am berkshire county, easy to all those points.

 

That's about 2 hours west of me, I am not apposed to that just not too familiar with the area. We need to do some actual planning.. I will start a slack group and link it here in a bit. If we get enough interested people we could get some food trucks to show up too.

If Springfield is in the middle to meet. I would say the basketball hall of fame could be an good place to meet. Plenty of parking and Uno’s also has and outside area to eat and drink if the weather nice. It’s also right off I-91 to go north or south.

 

right next door is LUXE burger bar! Easily my favorite burger restaurant.

 

I'm sold!!!!

Now hopefully I can make it this year, unlike last year.

Is there still that Maxs Burgers in longmeadow by the big Y? Burgers were alright . Their tuna salsa chip dip was spot on though.

 

not a chain. Fairly new. Absolutely delicious. you "make your own burger" They give you a pen and big check list and you just check off how you want your burger made and with what on it.

I personally get burger with cheese, bbq sauce, bacon, and chili.

you can get an egg on you burger, or mac and cheese or you can get your burger between 2 grilled cheese's instead of a bun. Its like burger heaven... Im caving now.

 

Yes thats decent too. Id take LUXE over that anyday though.
