Hey everyone! My 2017 Tacoma TRD Pro automatic is having some brake issues. Over the past month, my brakes require more and more pressure to activate. Now, I have to press the brakes to the floor to stop. Bleeding the brakes did not help.

Sounds like a master cylinder issue. I’ve checked Toyota parts numbers, but there’s various assemblies and sub-assemblies, I have no clue what part number to order. Any guidance would be truly appreciated.

Also, is it worth sticking to OEM?

    Thank you!

Go by your local Toyota dealer they will enter your VIN and sell you the correct master cylinder. Before you do that I would advise you to have the brakes checked out by a professional to confirm that’s the issue.
