I heard they are made by Cooper? So I assume they would be a decent tire? I need them for my '96 5 lugger, its got 195/75/14's on there now, and the local tire shop has these Mastercrafts for $49 bucks a pop. Apparently they are clearing inventory or something so they are selling them at cost to get em out.

I think for that price they would be great but just thought I would run it by the folks on TW, dont wanna buy junk either.

    Thanks

I've run no names / house brands on all types of vehicles that I didn't need or care to have high dollar rubber on. Because I didn't need it for the use of the vehicle.

I'd do it. Especially if it's a mostly around town ride.

You might want to start shopping for some 15" off a newer model to have on hand for the future. More tire selection.

I mean any tire is fine for just around town so you should be okey. Bult like already said just get some 15” rims so you have nore tire options. 14” tires are starting to go away

Yeah I mean its gonna see a fair share of highway too. But if they wear out faster oh well, though I think they should last 40,000ish. By that point I hope to be able to upgrade to 15's.

Totally want to go to 15's, just isnt in the budget right now. :( But I plan on keeping an eye out for some 15 inch steelies off a Camry or similar. Figured I ought to be able to pick a set of them up cheap. And then throw some 205's on there or whatever. Though I have heard that most people are moving to 16's now even. Anyway these 14's will have to do for now I guess.

    Thanks for the help

For $49 a tire I wouldn't care what brand they are, they'll do just fine
