yep, everything around here has been melting latley too.:D Well my dealer talked me into going back with the 7595's. He said this bow will sling the smaller arrows out like spaghetti, and after reading some info on archery forums I think he's right. Going to pick up a dozen tonight and paper tune it while I'm there.

Sounds like you've got it tuned nice at 40!

yep, these bows now-a-days seem to put some serious force on an arrow!

made the 1.5 hour trip last night and picked up my arrows. paper tuned it, and, well, there was no tuning needed, shot a bullet hole through the paper. My arrows are 455g, so we aren't getting much speed, but I'll try this setup for a bit and change it up from here. I may try to creep back up towards 70lb. pull if the shoulder can take it.

bullet hole??!! lucky dude!! 455 gr? what arrow and tip weight? did you chrono it? you will plow thru a whitetail with that!!

i watched bowhunting magazine TV last night..TIVO'd it actually. they demonstrated the "modified french tuning method" it looked cake! i may play with it. although i should leave it alone. my bow shoots, a 100 gr slick trick beautifully. only downside? slicktrick are difficult to sharpen. nothing is easy on this bow,,,for me. :(
