    Nothing new here. However, I did put 2000k miles on it. Trip to indiana and back with some cornfield wheeling inbetween. lol.

    Really like your build. I have the exact same Tacoma as you except it's silver. 2002 double cab 2.7l Tacoma. I just bought the toytec boss suspension system and 285/75/r16 Cooper AT3's. My question was how much trimming did you have to do to make 285/75/r16 fit up front? I'm setting my adjustable shocks to 2" in the front and its going to go up 1.5" in the back.

    Thx Skelly. Hardly any trimming at all except removing the mudflaps, trimming a small amount of plastc and hammerring the metal pinchweld flat.
    It barely scrubs only at full lock left. I can live with that.
    You should not have any trouble at all.
    And congrats on the 2.7 double cab. One of only a handful I have ever seen.

    One more question I have for you, gas millage.. Right now i get about 320-340 miles per a tank of gas, and that's a mix of city and Highway miles. Without gassing it what would you say you get per tank or what your MPG is. Just curious. Thanks again.

    About the same. Mixed driving I get about 300 miles on the odometer which is off because of the 285/75 tires. My GPS shows about 330 miles.

    It's ok. I did like the challenge but I see no significant hp/tq claims.
    I have the safari snorkel but have yet to find internal specs on connecting the 2.7 to the airbox. (They don't make internals for 2.7, only 3.4).
    My personal opinion....skip it.
