20210602_171716.jpg The hottest day of the year thus far and the poor TACO can't handle the heat :( I'll see if it happens again today.

I’ve seen several posts on TW where that’s happened, I think to the newer models

97, so well over 100 in the cab. It wasn't present this morning, but I'll report back this afternoon.

Happened to mine 6 months ago. Off and on wouldn't fix it. Then it fixes itself the next day never to return...no explanation

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
LCD screens do not handle hot temperatures very well - Drawblood's experience match the LCD monitor I've been using in my office for the last 11-12 years. Mine didn't go completely scrambled, but a good portion of it did and the colors went wonky. Typically with high humidity and temps over 90.
Cab air temps can skyrocket in short order on a hot sunny day when parked and the windows closed. Put a thermometer on the dash (shaded, not in direct sun) and you'd be surprised.
I'd bet that when the screen and head unit cool down to below 90 degrees all is good.

It's about 105 here in Phoenix. My truck has super dark tint and full windshield shade. Most of the time when I start the truck, my ultraguage is giving me the over temp warning (145*f)
