Nope. Just gonna stick with wire rope on the winch and my stretchy strap. I haven’t found anything that can’t be moved with those.

Honestly most extraction failures I’ve seen are due to lack if proper preparations. Sort of like the “lazy man’s load” my mom warned me about.

You guys see this one yet?

The blonde girl hates on tacomas but not sure why. Matt also usually refers to tacomas simply as “toyotas” with distain in his voice. Not sure if its a jeep bro thing or a patriotic american thing. Anyway here’s the link

The blonde girl hates on Toyotas because she isn't smart enough to know how to release the parking brake, use a seatbelt to help hold her in place and basically drive even with instructions.

I hope Matt is getting some, otherwise she's a waste of cabin space.

I don’t think he’s got any issue with Toyota’s and his good friend Paul at Fab Rats has a heavily modified Toyota. My wife has a similar complaint as Lizzy has with seeing over the Tacoma hood.

I have the same complaint as Lizzy for Christ's sake haha Its no secret its hard seeing over the hood. Thats why people make seat spacers for our trucks to begin with.

I just looked at the video again. Camera guy is going to be in a world of hurt someday when a winch cable snaps.

This after talking about the seatbelt.

Great show, I’m glad to see others in here following the crew. I love Ed!

Matt doesn’t get down like that. She’s a 4th generation family friend and adds spunk to the channel.

    I’m 6’3” I think I’m plenty tall

I grew up wheeling in Jeeps and it was a hell of a lot easier seeing over the hood. I still love my taco but there is still some times where I wish the visibility was better

Pretty common complaint from shorter people, the seat is low, hard to see out. The hood didn’t even have the scoop so I guess that means no matter what hood you have your screwed if your short.

Even with my head right up to the roof, the hood takes up a lot of my vision. You can tell from the side profile that the hood is almost perfectly horizontal. While it looks good from the outside, the view from the inside isn't as good.

Gee, I’m only 5’ 8” on a tall day. Yea the hood on the Sport is a bit thick. So I just used the button that raises the seat. Problem solved. Almost like it was supposed to work that way.

I agree with the vision problem and Im 6’1”. My 2015 had a better FOV. I do think that adding a little rake helps but i still would never buy a ford lol

Im digging the paint scheme. I know Matt has an affinity for Corvairs for some reason. But given that he normally goes out with 3-5 people in the XJ I would have thought something like a 1 Ton suburban would fit what he does a lot better.

"Can't see over the hood" Then go drive a Honda Accord or similar car, you can't see the hood to see where the car is.

    The Corvair!!!

He can often times be quoted as saying that more weight does a disservice in the sand, and that's why he tries to keep the Banana as light as he does. I'm interested to see what the Corvair ends up weighing after it's all said and done; I can't see that thing being 'light' by any stretch of the imagination. lol

    I watched that episode.

Did you notice how the secondary keep-the-truck-from-going-down-the-hill line was attached to the truck? The kid used a soft shackle wrapped around the leaf spring.

I lost a lot of respect for them.
