No spoilers that wasn't on air at the time, but I did see progress ahead of what was on the latest youtube videos. I saw it start in person before it was shown on the internet. This was about six weeks ago by the way, so I know progress was being made. Matt was about to fly out to Tennesee at the time.

I also got to climb around inside the Banana, but the Morrvair was on the way to TN. The whole experience was surreal, interacting with the people and vehicles and shop I've been watching for years on my computer.

Dang, you beat me to it!

That really sucks if it is totaled. It looked like a nice smooth recovery until the airbag went off :annoyed:

I noticed they used the "not recommended for recovery" hook both to pull it out of the river as well as to tow it back out the trail.

I was waiting for this post. At first I thought it was a red TRD Sport, but then I realized it was a first-year Inferno TRD Pro. That's a lot of water. And with the airbag going off and the wipers going crazy, it's gonna need a lot of work to ever be right again. Hope it isn't totaled.

A new airbag, remove the entire interior to dry, maybe replace the starter and whatever was smoking under the hood, it could be road worthy again.

Even so, you'll be chasing codes for a unforseen future.

Might be cheaper to just push it off a cliff ;)

The guy in the video looked like he was doing his best to take it in stride. I dunno if I could bring myself to push an OG Pro off a cliff. Electrical gremlins or not.

Crazy that Matt does not have portable air with him. I was blown away.

yeah I’ve never understood that one. Seems easy enough to just have a portable compressor in the back. It would save him a lot of hassle and headache.

Even just a Dewalt 20V inflator would get the job done and take up very little space.

Who here drove from FL to Utah to get stuck in the snow so they could be in a MORR video?

Haha. I’ve told my kids we’re going to go to Utah and get our rental stuck on purpose to be on MORR.

I just watched this and was going to mention that no way was that TRDOR 6M going to get out of that deep snow. Big Lizzy fan but she really didn't seem to know the electronic traction controls of the vehicle. Wasn't using rear locker or A-Trac. Was Matt sort of rough on that windshield?

^Windshield is fine. Dragging that metal shovel across the hood should be avoided when possible.
