I wasn't planing on buying a truck because less than 2 years ago bought a new '14 Access Cab with the SR package (2.7L with Manual Trans) and had completed a with a few mods. But after paying off 2 huge debts from my divorce in 2011, I decided that I should treat/reward myself. I found and bought a "lightly used" '16 Tacoma DCSB TRD Off Road with the Premium & Technology Package (lightly used = original owner purchased the truck in Dec 2015 and had only put 5200 miles on the truck).

    Completed mods:
    Morimoto XB LED Fog Lights
    LED interior lights
WeatherTech floor liners (front & rear)
    Access Original roll-up tonneau cover
Hella 2.0 High Perfomance H9 bulbs in High beam
    AVS Side Window vent visors
    Morimoto/TRS HID kit; 35w in 4500k
Full OME Lift with 285/75R16 on SCS Ray10s (see Post #4 for details).
    B.A.M.F CMC (Cab Mount Chop)

Some other things I am looking to do:
    Skid Plates
    Window Tint
    Switch-Pro SP-8100
    LED Aux Lights
    Bumpers
    Sliders
    Roof Rack
    Recovery Gear

Pictures from the first day I picked up the truck

I had a mod day recently... I have installed a lift & tires. Back in the day I when had my '98 Tacoma, I installed a full Old Man Emu kit and I loved it! This time when I started looking at Lifts for my 3rd Gen, I started searching up everything I could about different OME set-ups people have installed.

For my 3rd Gen set-up I have selected...

    Front:
OME 888 coils mounted on 90021 shocks (OME Trim packer on Driver side strut)
    Total Chaos UCA (Balljoint)

    Rear:
Dakar leafs and 60091 shocks, New U-Bolts
    Carrier bearing drop kit
    Headstrong extended brake lines

    Wheels & Tires:
    285/75R16 Cooper ST Maxx
    16x8 SCS Ray10

    Electronics:
    Hypertech inline calibration

Here is my Old '98 Tacoma 4x4, 2.7L, 5 speed... with 3" Old Man Emu Lift with 33x10.50 BFG MT, OME 881, OME 15a/b, OME shocks, 4.56 gears with a Detroit Truetrac in the rear, IPF 986 and LCE Header.

Well its a bittersweet time... back in Early April 2019, I traded by '16 Taco in for a '16 VW Golf R. And then in Mid June 2019, I picked up a '01 Tacoma (ExtraCab, TRD, V6-Auto) to take on the trails and such.
