    You are absolutely correct! $2,200 is an awesome price! They normally go for the price you mentioned, if not more. I'm in CA as well and everyone charges an arm and a leg.

    I always wrap my own cars/trucks with Avery, 3M, TeckWrap, Oracal...etc....Materials for our Tacoma is about $600 give or take and of course depends on the brand. If you can find someone to do it for $2,200, jump on it...lol. BTW, OP your truck looks great! I'm actually going to wrap it the same color.

    With door dings it will just look like any ding on a car that's painted, but there will be a chance of the vinyl "chipping or rip", the same applies for rock chips.
