Hey guys, so I was driving down the road the other day and saw a taco with an army green flat paint job and it looked friggin awesome! I'm a pretty good DIYer and was thinking about repainting my truck the same way. Especially since my manufacturer white paint is crap and flaking off at every hard corner.

I've read all the Pro's n Cons of painting with a flat paint but wanted to know if anyone on here has done so and how it had turned out for them.

Also, I don't do a great deal of off-roading, probably around 10% at most, but when I do, I'll end up getting stuck in 4' of mud. lol

    Let the opinions fly!

If you like the color of your truck then wrap it with a clear matte vinyl. You can buy a roll for around $400-700 depending on the brand.

Flat olive drab like an old military cucv blazer would look badass on a taco! Raptor liner has that color in their kit. I hit my fenders with a couple coats of black bed liner, it went on well. It makes it a lot easier having cut, grinded, welded on the truck already haha.

I also think it would look killer. That’s exactly what I want to do to my truck in 15 or so years when the original paint job is cooked. Matte forest/army green.
