I had a 2005 with the OME springs w/ rancho 9000's in the rear & rancho quick lift in the front w/ 9000's as well. Definitely would not do the front like that again! I had mine loaded down with a two 4wheelers and a razor 800 S. one wheeler was in the bed and the other on the trailer with the 800. Turned the shocks up and it handled great. Like you said the truck was getting like 12 mpg's. I was not SC.

On the 5100 billy's, Eibach springs and wheelers 3 leaf pack, it has a very comfortable ride.

I don't baja bash my truck but it climbs like mountain goat in the hills.

I did the OME set up in the rear for towing and was still a comfortable ride. I don't baja my truck either. I personally liked the stiffer springs, the truck didn't drag the bumper at all.

Finally decided to upgrade to a V2 (cool white) LED light kit with remote!

My light kit is slightly customized since I have a motorcycle bed bar.

Added an additional set of lights under the hood.

The camera makes it look blue, its actually cool white.

Your truck looks awesome! I'm looking for the "Eyelids", can you send me a link to them? I've searched and can't find them. My truck is a 2013 Double Cab in the Dark Blue color.

I'm also interested in the wheels, do I have to change the TRD Off Road Suspension to put bigger wheels on? I'm not sure I can afford that right now, but would bigger tires be a decent option to raise it up a bit for now or should I hold off until I get the bigger wheels? What did your wheels run for price, they are nice! I can't change the suspension right now, to much $$, so I'm trying to pick some small things to do. I just got the bed cover, tailgate lock, weathertech window protectors, and a hood protector. I would love to do a grille and grill guard as well, what's on the front of your truck?

    Thanks!!

I had purchased the eyelids from TW member: Toyota Man. He isn't making them anymore but recommended Ebay, search Tacoma eyelids and they come up. According to his thread, Toyota Man can still paint them for you (if needed). His painting is excellent.

Save up for lift and then buy tires.

following your thread. I was actually thinking about going with a readylift kits with spacers in the front. but you said some members are down on spacers? why?
Was looking at the toytec set, a bit more $ but worth it I guess? How so?

My TRD Sport package came with TRD Sport suspension and bilstein shocks, still trying to figure out what the sport suspension is.

Just trying tio figure out what I'm going to do for lift. I want 3" front and 2" back for leveling and lift. Your suggestion?

    And what's the bro lean?

    Thanks
    Larry

ATX Ledge 17" (Teflon coating), I removed the chrome plastic bolts and plastic center caps and made flat black metal centers plates.

If you off-road a spaces lift can cause your shocks to break and your rear axle to twist/bend.

The Bilstien 5100 shocks paired Eibach/toytech springs in the front, 5100 shocks and 3 leaf pack added to the back is a great inexpensive setup and my ride quality stayed like stock.

Matt, The spacers I meant were for the front, not the back. I would do AAL for the back.

Now Toytec, don't they have this setup in a package deal now? Did you do the diff drop and the sway bar relocates?

Basically the lift I've been looking at now is this:
    http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/Toytec-Ultimate-Lift-Kit-05-Tacoma_p_1062.html

Unless buying it piece by piece is better?

I'm also wondering what my Bilsteins are that came with the truck, probably not 5100's but damn, the toys are adding up.
