    Welcome!
I can find out for you. I'm not sure when I'll be able to have Internet access while I'm away, but I'll tell you for sure at some point. We also have gas hooked up to it. Argon I believe? It makes the welds so much cleaner. I highly recommend.

I know nothing about welders other than I can use my dad's now. I think I'm really into it now though. I want to make some more stuff! We might be getting a plasma cutter. I cut everything with an angle grinder with a cutoff wheel. Never used a plasma cutter before, but apparently they are awesome

I know for sure that I will be building at least two more skids for my truck. He has a Tundra and the stock skid on it was so badly mangled that they couldn't put it back on after the last oil change, so we will probably build a new front skid for that truck. Hopefully these projects are a good enough justification to get a plasma cutter

Thank you sir! I really take a lot of pride in this truck and I enjoy spending a lot of time making custom, one off projects for it. I want it to be unique and one of a kind :)

Nice bro! I did the same method to customize my skid plate for my all pro tube bumper. worked really well.

Subbed. Looking forward to seeing more custom stuff like this.

I thought about that, but I made all the cuts from the back side of the skid regardless of the direction of the bend. I wanted to keep as much welding inside as possible because I wanted it to look totally smooth from the outside. I probably didn't do it the strongest way, but I also didn't make them to be a ski. I just need it there in the event that I screw up and really need it. I feel confident that the way I did it is definitely good enough for my intended use. If I was on the rocks every weekend, I probably would have done it a little differently, but I'm not. I hope that doesn't sound rude....

Maybe I'll try that method on the Tundra skid and see how it works out! I don't anticipate too much bending in my other two
