Thought you basically did it like an AAL but you used a bigger leaf and cut off the mounting stuff and added it to your leaf. Put it as the second leaf, if that makes sense

I have a constant buzz type of thing. I think it's my switch for my ditch lights. But I'm gonna redo all my electrical stuff anyways

Yeah I wanna do quick disconnects but I've been too busy to even start buying stuff for it ha. I'm gonna try to redo it all during the summer.

    Sorry @MatthewMay1 for :threadjacked:

I wish I would have done quick disconnects, definitely would have made it a lot easier. I spent a solid two hours of just soldering everything together.

That and when I go to add stuff I literally splice the new stuff into the quick disconnect and plug it in. Super easy. It's all in the prep like everything else ha

63s have unodly axle wrap from what I've seen. If you do it do a trac bar at the same time. And they're looooooooooong. They have a shit load of overhang.

They do have axle wrap, but that can be remedied pretty easy. Don't run the overload. That does stick out a ton!

I just don't think it's worth the hassle over going with a drop in leaf pack like the Dakars.

I agree. Unless you are going through the bed with 14" or larger shocks it isn't worth it. Save yourself 2 days of grinding and welding to get a drop in pack. i have as much droop as Dakota does, difference is that he had to strap it so he doesn't over extend the shock, my leaf pack max droop is 3/4" before the end of the shock

Hey, when you made your skid plate and used the template design how accurate were the holes marked? Did you follow the template or make your own?

Also, do you remember how much it cost for the plate?

Dang, I don't really remember... I think the holes for the front bolts matched pretty closely, but I just took the nut plate out of my bumper so I could line up the holes exactly where they should be. That's what really made it easy. I have no idea how much the metala cost. I built that a little while ago. I'm hoping to get my tcase and tranny skid built this summer

Had some unexpected maintenance today in the parking lot of my work. I installed a new starter and got my battery replaced under the Autozone warranty

Unfortunately, no. I'd love to spend my days building skids in the shop but I just don't have the time for it. I also don't have good enough tools to make them quick enough to be worth selling. I would like a Plasma cutter and a bender before I ever started selling anything. School has me so dang busy!
