Gotcha. Realistically, I'll probably just end up with the Dakars. Seems like the best choice for the money and simplicity

    Well this blew up!

1.) How was the brake install?

    2.) Soft topper looks great!

3.) Go dakars, forget about the AAL it's just like getting a spacer lift just so you can fit tires before you get real susupension.

1.) Super simple. Only issue was that I had to undo the brake lines and reattach them because then ended up twisted.

2.) I absolutely love it. I'm going to rivet in some snaps for the front flap today....if my truck comes home from the shop

3.) I know that's what I should do, but I'll just have to wait until I have the money

Sweet! Looking forward to when I can get mine!

I'd just wait then, it'll be better that way. Or just make a bastard pack. Go to a junk yard and get some leafs hack em up to make them fit our hangers. A lot more work, but less than Chevys and cheaper than Dakars

    Yes sir!
The softtopper is amazing so far. Way more useful than the hard shell I have sitting on the ground now. Haha

My problem is that I have a tool box that might be in the way of the topper.

You'd have to cut the rails shorter and then it might not sit like it should. The softtopper has rails that go along the sides of the bed that has the snaps for the sides

    I give you that haha

The KM2s ride really hard. That's the the main reason I didn't go with them. The other reason being that I personally think the MT/Rs look more aggressive, but that is neither here nor there. Unless the sidewall on the KM3s are more compliant then the KM2s, I'd still lean towards the MT/Rs. MT/Rs also give you a better bite off road then the KM2s. Went wheeling with a guy who has a set of 35" KM2 and he aired down to 15psi, still looked like he was at 35psi.
