Just posted 2 new videos to my channel so don't forget to like, comment and subscribe :D haha.

I tried a different approach to editing the second one, you guys old enough to have kids probably won't like it :anonymous: I'm trying to find ways to keep non-pilots focused on what is otherwise boring flying footage.

Edit: I wonder how long it takes for my thumbnails to update when the video is embedded...

It's a blast! Popping in and out of the clouds is so much fun. That 5 minute video took me 5 hours to edit :pccoffee:

It comes with experience. You learn to expect what they are going to tell you. For the record, the clearance he read me in the first video was way too fast. I just happened to know what he was going to give me. If I didn't know what to expect, I would have had to ask him to repeat it slower.

I did all my training in Dallas. The radio was a huge hurtle at first, but now it seems like everyone talks soooo slowly everywhere else I've been. Especially up here in Arkansas. It's not uncommon to go 10-15 minutes without hearing another plane on the app/dep frequency.

I made it back to school in an hour in a half and made all my friends doing the 5 hour drive jealous! 205mph over the ground thanks to a 40mph tailwind :D I can't complain.

Nothing new to report here aside from my truck slowly turning back into a rust bucket again just sitting parked outside my apartment in Arkansas. Hopefully I can get back into some mods come summer time when I have the truck back at home.

Saw a pair of F-18's at the airport today, so that's kinda cool. Still nothing to report on the truck. Been a reliable grocery getter so far this semester!

Took a detour on the way to Dallas a couple weeks ago.

Did some exploring today. It was a muddy mess! I broke my radiator fan and went ahead and left early. Already got it pulled off and ready to pick up a new one tomorrow.

The end of the school semester is approaching and that means that when I get back to dallas, I get to have a fluid changing party! Going to be time for oil by then, going to do transmission fluid and probably power steering and transfer case as well.

I also have a set of 4Runner Trail wheels wrapped in 265/70/17 KO2s waiting for me from a friend when I get home. Those should get me through college and then I can put big boy tires on when it's (hopefully) not being daily driven anymore :woot:

Oh, I also need to get that winch line installed...Haven't had the truck back in Dallas to get that done yet
